Contemporary new-build family house on the coast of North Cornwall.
Our clients and their family have enjoyed family holidays at their Cornwall home for generations. Looking to the future they have decided to build a new home within the garden, and have employed Bark + Bay Architects for full architectural services.
The brief is for a new home to accommodate their large, outdoorsy family life, along with extended family and friend visitors. Our clients have American background and enjoy the mountain homes of Colorado so we have drawn on this reference, combined with the colours, textures and atmosphere of the North Cornwall coast, to devise a design that they love.
The house has a reverse level layout with living rooms to enjoy the views to the sea and Trevose Head.
The project is currently at the planning application stage. Images shown are in-progress sketches and models as we have developed scheme options with our clients.
